It has inspired me to imagine more ways to help empower entrepreneurs to overcome barriers, leading to the development of BTI’s VOICE Grant Program. BTI’s VOICE Grant Program is levelling the entrepreneurial playing field by providing underrepresented business owners fair and equal access to opportunities and advancements despite systemic barriers. The goal is to help underrepresented groups, such as but not limited to, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour), student entrepreneurs (under the age of 25), women, 2SLGBTQI+, persons with disabilities, minority cultural groups, etc. so that they have the resources and opportunity they need to grow their business and succeed in their industry.
